Apply before sun exposure, blending until white cast dissipates. Allow a few minutes for it to absorb.
Tallow sun balm is resistant to water, however we recommend reapplication after swimming (or sweating).

Our sun balm tubes are made from green polyethylene (PE), a bioplastic created by fermenting sugarcane to produce ethanol, which is then converted into polyethylene.
Unlike traditional polyethylene derived from fossil fuels, sugarcane-based PE is renewable and sequesters CO2 during the plant’s growth, reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 50–80%.

As soon as the first collection dropped, I ran to the site and bought every item, and I have to say—the Sun Balm is my desert island product. I've been using it every day and simply cannot get over how incredible it smells! The texture is also absolutely perfect, it clears up my breakouts, and I feel so good knowing I’m using something clean and earth-conscious.

I had been using this the last few months and have been very happy with it. It smells wonderful and blends well. This weekend I spent several hours on the lake and it worked great!
I am always researching and eager to try clean products and this one is a keeper! I have used it for everyday use but the real test was playing tennis in 90+ temperatures and humidity. I was shocked how well it stayed on and it felt light and did not run into my eyes like other sunscreens have. What a great product! I highly recommend and happy to have found this product. Not to mention that it smells SO GOOD and I love the packaging and branding.
I’ve tried tons of sunscreens—sprays, lotions, popular mineral sunscreens from sephora/ professional brands—and most felt gross or irritated my skin. I randomly found this tallow sun balm and was a little suspicious at first, but it’s the only one I've felt genuinely good about using.
The ingredients are super clean: grass-fed tallow, zinc oxide, and a few nourishing oils. No chemicals, no fake smells. It’s moisturizing without being greasy, and leaves my skin soft and happy. I’ve worn it on long hikes in blazing sun and never got burned (I'm somewhat tan, but can definitely still burn). The zinc oxide gives solid protection, with a slight white cast that blends in quickly.
It goes on smooth, not thick or pasty, and a little lasts forever. It really does smell like orange/vanilla—no overpowering tropical vibes (also can't tell they use beef tallow). I can tell that it's made by a small company that cares about quality. I feel good using it, whether I’m at the beach or just out and about.
